What is Augmented Reality?
Augmented Reality (AR) is the art of super-imposing computer generated content over a live view of the world.
Professor Ronald Azuma definition in his Survey of Augmented Reality paper in 1997, is that it combines the real and the virtual, it’s interactive in real-time and that it must register in 3D.
Rather than get into the details of its definition or how it works, over the week I will highlight how brands have been using Augmented Reality in campaigns. With the use of iPads or smartphones, people can have an AR experience.
